Overview

The BOMB Digital Program Manager is involved in jobs vital to digital project production, cross-platform digital marketing, and event coordination. Two years of professional experience in websites and digital platforms is required.

Reports to: Associate Publisher

DUTIES:

  • Support all digital aspects of BOMB including project management, program coordination, social media strategy, and video implementation. Works with staff and external partners.
  • Conduct SEO audits, maintain BOMB’s website, and manage the ongoing migration of the BOMB archive. Assesses and understands technical SEO adjustments and alt text to maintain, optimize, and improve web ranking and health.
  • Coordinate with the Associate Publisher/ Producer on the curation and production of digital media projects, such as the podcast (pre- and post-production).
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with digital marketing campaigns and analytics. This includes BOMB’s weekly newsletter, Weekend Reads, and social media related to the online and print publishing schedule, subscription promotions, and events. (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
  • Assist in all event pre-production and post-production, including Zoom events, BOMB issue launches, Art Fairs, and Book Fairs.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials, such as one-sheets, pitch-decks, and press releases using InDesign, KeyNote, and Google Slides.
  • Write copy and edit using an institutional voice. 
  • Assist in promoting the Oral History Project, FUSE Podcast, and BOMB subscriptions and merchandise.
  • Assist the Associate Publisher with staff wide communications, scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and running weekly intern check-ins.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies to identify opportunities and engage new partners.
  • Assisting with all digital needs for the BOMB Gala.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two years of professional experience in digital platforms, and websites.
  • Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven project management and multi-tasking skills 
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, collaboratively, and effectively with a wide variety of staff and outside partners.
  • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Experience with analytics tools for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Google Analytics, etc.) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver who can clearly articulate ideas, frame challenges, highlight opportunities, and offer solutions.
  • Two years minimum experience in successful event/program planning and coordination.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to write both strategically and creatively under tight deadlines.
  • Interest and enthusiasm for the work of BOMB and knowledge of art and the non-profit cultural world.
