POSITION SUMMARY

The Mission Properties and Infrastructure Department manages the planning and maintenance of all the Mission-related properties for Trinity Church Wall Street. 

The Project Intern will help conduct a climate risk assessment and recommend potential resilience and adaption strategies for select Mission properties. In addition, there will be tasks associated with improving the sustainability of other Mission properties, including 76 Trinity Place’s office and terrace spaces.

To be considered you must be a student enrolled in a graduate program. The Internship program will begin on June 3rd and end on August 2nd. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research of best practices in climate risk assessment 

• Collation and distillation of key data points regarding specific Mission properties

• Reporting of incremental progress and check-ins with their supervisor, as needed

• A final presentation to Mission Properties staff that reports on their findings and that will function      as a capstone for their future endeavors

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ACTIVITIES

• General knowledge of climate risk activities, and/or an interest in engaging in this subject matter

• Developed and demonstrable research skills, including verification of information

• Data manipulation and presentation skills

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS

• Graduate level degree (or pursuance of) in Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Urban Studies; consideration will be given to exceptional Undergraduate students pursuing the fields above
