Overview

Job Description:

  • Provide individual clinical treatment to children, adolescents and non-offending parents who have experienced abuse/trauma.
  • Co-facilitate therapeutic groups.
  • Keep up-to-date statistics, documentation and reports as required.
  • Participate in weekly staff, clinical, peer and individual supervision meetings.
  • Conduct intake of new client referrals.
  • Provide advocacy for children and families.
  • Facilitate relations between ACS, partner agencies and families as needed.
  • Conduct trainings and educational workshops.

Qualifications:

  • LMSW and NYS licensure required
  • Oral and written fluency in Spanish required
  • Clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families.
  • Experience in working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of how trauma impacts child development and family systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
