Overview
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To provide support and coordination for Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. Monday-Thursday during regular office hours. Availability for occasional Sundays and evening events, with compensatory time off.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Administrative Support for Communications and Development
a. Manages department backup for expenses and invoice submissions.
b. Coordinates weekly reports with Excel for incoming gifts.
c. Coordinates the printing of acknowledgment letters for both Pledge Drive and weekly gifts.
d. Manages analytics for social media accounts and handles posting as needed.
e. Maintains the physical archive of printed materials and oversees the department storage area.
f. Organizes and maintains photo library.
g. Provides basic administrative support as needed.
h. Coordinates with the video production team on livestream events, including weddings, funerals and memorial services, and concerts.
2. Administrative Support for Outreach and Missions
a. Manages department backup for expenses and invoice submissions.
b. Purchases supplies.
c. Provides event management for outreach events including calendar management, room reservations, room set up and assistance at the event.
d. Serves as a point of contact for program partners.
e. Database management.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
· Administrative experience in a business or nonprofit setting.
· Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office programs.
· Working knowledge of social media tools.
· Work experience in a busy office environment.
· Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
