If you’re ready for the brightest career future, join us in this excellent opportunity to showcase your talents. We are currently seeking an experienced Trainer/Learning Specialist (Hybrid) for our Training & Staff Development department. 

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver learning programs for staff and management by using diverse delivery methods to include instructor-led-training, e-learning, hybrid programs, webinars, and individual interventions; Develop curriculum, eLearning courses, facilitator guides, PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and training documentation based on adult leaning principles and instructional design principles
  • Evaluate and document impact and results of learning programs; gather qualitative and quantitative data from participants and their managers; debrief stakeholders and management as needed
  • Drive follow-through on transfer of learning and application of knowledge, skills, and capabilities to the job with the goal of enhancing individual and team’s productivity and effectiveness, including on-the-job support
  • Partner with departmental Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to decipher relevant information, coach SMEs during Train-the-Trainer programs
  • Provide end-user training and support for collaboration platforms including Office 365 and Zoom
  • Effectively communicate program schedule, program status and issues to stakeholders and management as appropriate
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technologies or related field, or equivalent work-related experience required
  • Must have facilitation and presentation experience to engage learners and minimum two (2) years’ experience in health insurance, benefits, healthcare, call centers, pension or technology required
  • Intermediate skill level in Office 365 including One Drive, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Minimum three (3) years training experience required with a minimum two (2) years’ experience in health insurance, benefits, healthcare, call centers, pension or technology preferred
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required
  • Strong knowledge of instructional technology; experience with Adobe Captivate Prime LMS or any other LMS is a plus; experience with Adobe Captivate or any other authoring tool used for creating eLearning content is a plus
  • Experience in learning cloud-based software and application, designing and delivering instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning program for different users’ groups of the software/ applications is a plus
  • Must have the ability to assess learner skill and provide feedback in a manner consistent with Funds culture
  • Experience in a unionized environment preferred
  • Must have the ability to build effective relationships within and across departments
  • Must have strong customer service orientation skills and be able to multitask and be a team player
  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills
