WHO WE ARE

A Better Chance believes diversity in independent schools has the power to transform individuals, families, schools, and communities. For almost 60 years, A Better Chance has worked with high-performing students of color, their families, and over 200 Member Schools to ensure communities of color have access to the transformational educational opportunities provided by independent schools across the United States.

WHO WE ARE SEEKING

• A deep appreciation for teamwork and drive to be part of a high-level team

• Education, training, or experience in IT and related fields

• Willingness to perform all job duties with enthusiasm and a positive outlook 

• Must be detail-oriented

• Basic understanding of a Microsoft Windows environment is helpful

• Good understanding of computer hardware

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to)

• Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems. 

• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support. 

• Organize and maintain IT resources. 

• Lend IT support in cybersecurity, programming, and analytics.

• Troubleshoot issues with equipment, i.e., printers and computers 

• Run software updates 

• Participate in the deployment of new desktops and applications 

• Research technology solutions 

• Other duties assigned
