Overview

Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking a full time, school-based Speech Language Pathologist/Learning Specialist for grades 1-5.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Teaching small, writing and comprehension-based reading groups; collaborating with classroom teachers and other learning specialists to embed language goals into the curriculum and provide guidance for supporting students in the classroom; informally screening individual students.

Graduate degree in speech-language pathology and at least 2 years of school-based experience is required. Must have CCC-SLP and TSSLD. Orton-Gillingham based reading training is preferred. Experience with The Writing Revolution is recommended.

The full-time equivalent salary range is $55,000 – $95,000, depending on years of experience.
