Overview

Position Summary:  Under the supervision of the Director, the Program Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the OVS, CIY and mental health programs and ensure fidelity to the utilization of the program requirements.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide direct services and clinical supervision to the Office of Victim Service, Mental Health and Court Involved Initiative program staff at the Next Generation Center. 
  • Review all referrals received for therapy and assign cases to therapists within 48 hours
  • Manage and facilitate recruitment efforts
  • Ensure that all documentation and paperwork is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with ACS Regulations and Article 31 regulations and grant funded requirements
  • Facilitate case conferences and treatment planning meetings.
  • Ensure Therapists and are following grant funded requirements.
  • Participate in case consultations and trainings.
  • Liaison with foster care staff to ensure collaboration in treatment planning.
  • Participates with interdisciplinary team members in developing and implementing program policies and procedures 
  • Monitors productivity of therapists.
  • Evaluates staff and completes staff evaluations.
  • Crisis Intervention as needed.
  • Maintain a waitlist, if needed.
  • Complete quarterly and annually reports
  • Keep track of program outcomes and write reports to funding sources
  • Cover for Director in their absence.
  • Attend CIY partnership monthly meeting
  • Monitor timelines and goals to ensure positive outcomes
  • Use and identify best practices to build a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Comply with all privacy laws including HIPAA, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work required
  • Valid New York State LCSW, LMFT Required
  • Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, families, professionals and other personnel from a wide range of cultural, social and economic backgrounds.
  • Experience with Foster Care population preferred.
  • Experience with intimate partner violence
  • Strong clinical experience especially in the area of trauma.
  • 2 years Supervisory Experience preferred
  • Experience with evidence-based models preferred (Trauma Systems Therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, CBT+)
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, evening coverage is required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
