Depaul USA supports homeless and marginalized people, providing people experiencing homelessness with purpose and hope for a positive future. Our vision is that everyone has a place to call home and a stake in his or her community. In cities across the nation, we meet people where they are to address their needs. Through a combination of homelessness services and a growing social enterprise portfolio, Depaul USA is innovating and bringing real solutions to those facing homelessness.

In New York City, we’ve partnered with St. John’s University and the College of Mount St. Vincent to provide housing and case management to homeless college students. The New York City Director is responsible for managing an evidence-based housing program for college students experiencing homelessness that helps people in a manner consistent with the organization’s values. The Director is responsible for the oversight of the Program and delivering its strategic goal of propelling college students to graduation by providing housing, case management and financial assistance. The Director also works with six graduates from the College of Mount St. Vincent to ensure they successfully navigate the first year post-graduation to permanent housing. The Director will provide leadership in the development of strategic objectives and vision for programming; communicate vision to public, staff, and stakeholders. The Director will liaise with local city officials, funders, and community groups to strengthen services for homeless and disadvantaged people in NYC and manage team of staff to effectuate strategic objectives, including student house managers.

Work locations: Primarily in-person from New York City in Queens (Hillcrest and Jamaica Estates neighborhoods) and Bronx (Riverdale neighborhood). Regular Business Hours M-F 8am-5pm EST.
