Overview
Base salary is $50,000, with sales incentives that can bring the salary to $60,000 / $70,000.

JOB PURPOSE
Oversee all aspects of membership sales activities for the 14 Street Y. Assume responsibility for setting and meeting membership, enrollment, and financial objectives. Coordinate and oversee sales team. Track all sales statistics and retention strategies. Monitor and improve upon necessary reporting systems. Work with other departments in establishing and maintaining customer service standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Job Function 90%
- Manage and oversee all aspects of 14th Street Y membership sales effort
- Act as a point person for all telephone, walk-in and e-mail membership and enrollment inquiries, and place follow-up calls to all potential members.
- Participate in the development and implementation of marketing promotions and retention activities.
- Assist staff with sales process; cross-train, coach, and motivate sales team members to achieve sales targets; contribute to annual performance evaluations for the sales team.
- Maintain through understanding and up-to-date knowledge of all 14th Street Y programs and offerings; present approved membership options and prices to prospective members.
- Complete regular sales reports, develop and maintain activity logs.
- Assist with coordinating on-boarding process for new members, schedule member orientations, and ensure accurate and timely flow of membership paperwork.

- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Maintain current CPR/AED certification.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferred.
- Must have previous fitness background with experience in a fitness facility or community center in a customer service related position.
- Excellent inter-personal, supervisory, and leadership skills.
- Good administrative skills, enthusiastic, dynamic demeanor and a team player.
- Previous membership sales experience a plus.
