Overview

About Girl Vow Inc.

Girl Vow, Inc. is a city-wide nonprofit organization founded on the principle of gender-focused intensive mentorship for girls aged 12 to 24 impacted by foster care, juvenile justice, and poverty. The organization aims to provide girls with the foundation and support they lack through comprehensive, intensive mentorship, crisis management aftercare, life skills workshops, and leadership opportunities. We help girls navigate the challenging institutional and bureaucratic barriers that lead to and are a direct result of unimaginable trauma. We facilitate programming in juvenile justice facilities, foster care agencies, and Rikers Island.
