Overview

Responsibilities:

The position will be as an intern assisting the head of the Combatting Kleptocracy program with research, and data analytics. There will also be some clerical and administrative tasks and some data entry. This person should be interested in news and current affairs pertaining to illicit finance, trans-national money laundering, and the links between dirty money and authoritarianism. Sound judgment, focus, organization, attention to detail, empathy, an ability to work under pressure, and a sense of humor are imperative. 

The intern will spend time

– organizing data regarding foreign dictatorial funding of Western entities

– helping write a new newsletter on illicit finance and kleptocracy

– helping organize new events and podcasts dedicated to illicit finance and kleptocracy

– helping research sanctions submissions and effects 

– helping research foreign influence and foreign interference campaigns

Qualifications:

  • College student 
  • Strong research, and communication abilities
  • Experience with data organization and analysis
