Overview

Responsibilities

● Record all revenue and expenditures in Quickbooks.

● Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing,

payment tracking, and vendor communication.

● Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.

● Execute payroll processing, including calculating wages, and deductions.

● Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with

relevant regulations.

● Record donations in Breeze (online church management software)

● Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.

● Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and streamline

processes.

● Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure

compliance.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

● Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.

● Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.

● Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

● Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a part-time role.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Familiarity with payroll processing and related regulations is a plus.

● CPA certification or eligibility is advantageous but not required.
