Overview

Summary:

Assist with system maintenance on desktop computers and laptops, upgrading anti-virus programs, and perform other routine tasks, as described below, in preparation for a rollout of over 150 new pc’s as well as a major upgrade to Windows 7 from an XP environment throughout the agency.

This position is a temporary assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Install Anti-Virus Software
  • Perform Manual Desktop/PC Maintenance (Instruction will be provided)
  • Answer incoming helpdesk calls and create tickets
  • Update Webhelpdesk tickets and escalate as required
  • Image Computers, migrate user profiles
  • Install Computers/Printers/Scanners or any other peripherals on site and remotely
  • Perform other IT related activities as needed

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent

City wide travel: Yes

Note: Required training and meetings might not take place at the same location or borough of your regular work
