Overview
Summary:
The Manager Individual & Community Engagement will join an ambitious and energetic Individual and Community Engagement team, providing administrative, project management, digital fundraising, and research support. The ideal candidate has impeccable attention to detail, takes initiative, and enjoys problem solving.
The Manager Individual & Community Engagement will report to the AVP Individual & Community Engagement and will work closely with Safe Horizon’s Chief Development Officer and other members of the Individual and Community Engagement team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative duties including but not limited to data entry, list generation, and direct appeal mailings.
- Evaluate and report monthly on individual giving and community engagement efforts and progress toward goals.
- Identify individual donor candidates and conduct prospect research on an ongoing basis.
- In partnership with campaign team, develop, implement, and analyze digital fundraising plans for all external campaigns.
- Manage engagement and cultivation of leads acquired through social media.
- Keep up with digital fundraising trends and make recommendations for new digital giving opportunities.
- Provide support on community engagement and fundraising events.
Qualifications:
- Genuine appreciation for Safe Horizon’s mission.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record of successful project management.
- Demonstrated commitment to anti-racism and experience engaging diverse demographic groups.
- Creative, entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Exceptional judgment and integrity.
- Understanding of Salesforce and/or other relevant data management systems.
