S:US’ Behavioral Health Division is a multi-disciplinary team which provides supports, housing, shelter, recovery & treatment services to people facing a number of challenges. The Project Manager for Behavioral Health will conduct activities critical to meeting the mission and goals of the organization. They will work closely with the Behavioral Health Division leadership team to assess, design, develop and execute program initiatives that align with the organization’s strategic initiatives to impact S:US’ growth. This candidate will foster internal and external relationships with key stakeholders while demonstrating a strong understanding of the organization’s mission and core values. The position requires strong leadership skills including excellent verbal and written communication. A high level of emotional intelligence and teambuilding capabilities are important as well as the ability to engage staff at all levels so that they remain committed to the mission of the organization.   

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partnerships

·        Partners with Behavioral Health VPs, Regional Directors and Program Directors to assist with new or existing behavioral health program initiatives and projects.

·        Partners with programs to improve the efficiency and quality of the delivery of services.

·        Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team and other key stakeholders to plan, organize, lead and develop evidenced-based behavioral health programs.

·        Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in projects.

·        Acts as a liaison and fosters communication among programs, divisions and workgroups within behavioral health and the organization.

Planning

·        Prioritizes and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follows through on issues in a timely manner.

·        Facilitates, convenes and participates in meetings, task forces, and workgroups both internally and externally.

·        Predicts resources needed to reach objectives and manages resources in an effective and efficient manner.

·        Facilitates project team meetings, manages agendas and meeting recaps to ensure all project tasks and goals are being accomplished as expected.

·        Reviews current workflows, policies and procedures and makes necessary revisions.

·        Reviews data and protocols to support quality improvement processes.

·        Researches and prepares briefing materials for key meetings and presentations.

·        Manages contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks, communicating expected deliverables, and monitoring completion.

Project Management

·        Identifies and consults with relevant key stakeholders to determine project goals and objectives, scope, and deliverables.

·        Develops project schedules, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects.

·        Prepares project plans including: scheduling, cost analysis, content, communications and other elements as appropriate including relevant process and procedures.

·        Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.

·        Ensures project milestones/goals are met while adhering to approved budgets.

·        Creates and delivers appropriate documentation, workflows, matrixes as needed

·        Prepares and presents proposals, status reports, and other information to senior management, stakeholders and/or end-users.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·        BA/BS Science or Business Administration Degree, required.

·        4-6 years of experience, preferred specifically in healthcare operations and project or program management and/or related functions.

·        MS Office Suite Advanced

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·        Master’s degree or equivalent experience in any of the following areas strongly preferred: MPA, MPH, and MBA.

·        Operational healthcare experience in the areas of project management, change management, health care management preferred.

·        Project Management certification or equivalent preferred.
