POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Temporary Talent Assistant will provide general administrative support for the Talent Team. The Temporary Talent Assistant will provide support through scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates and researching creative sourcing methods. The Temporary Talent Assistant will be responsible for assisting with onboarding/offboarding processes and training sessions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment processes for the talent team, including scheduling and candidate communications.
- Support seasonal hiring at the Flatiron Institute, the Simons Foundation’s internal research division.
- Assist with hire and onboarding details for new employees, in addition to offboarding details for separating employees.
- Provide excellent customer service to hiring teams and candidates through successful recruitment processes.
- Support Talent Team internal meetings and recruitment events.
- Assist with various talent-related special projects and reports on an ongoing or ad-hoc basis.
- Perform a variety of duties and other tasks as necessary to support the HR department and carry out day-to-day responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience
- 1 year of administrative experience
