Overview
Job Description:
- Provide individual clinical treatment to children, adolescents and non-offending parents who have experienced abuse/trauma.
- Co-facilitate therapeutic groups.
- Keep up-to-date statistics, documentation and reports as required.
- Participate in weekly staff, clinical, peer and individual supervision meetings.
- Conduct intake of new client referrals.
- Provide advocacy for children and families.
- Facilitate relations between ACS, partner agencies and families as needed.
- Conduct trainings and educational workshops.
Qualifications:
- LMSW and NYS licensure required
- Oral and written fluency in Spanish required
- Clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families.
- Experience in working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of how trauma impacts child development and family systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
