Environmental Educator: OSH Garden Explorers Program Summer 2023

Overview

Seeking an experienced Environmental Educator for OSH’s Garden Explorers Summer program.

August 14 to September 1, 2023

Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM

 Garden Explorers is a hands-on garden program for Children ages 7 to 10.  The program accesses the six garden spaces in Washington Park with shaded outdoor classroom space. 

Qualified applicants:

Are reliable and able to commit to the program for the full three-week period

Are experienced in organizing project-based learning in Early Childhood or Elementary Education

Are able to work with students with a variety of learning styles

Have a strong background in Environmental Education and sustainability and/or visual art

Are personable, enthusiastic and willing to get their hands dirty 

MA Candidates in Education, Museum studies or Environmental Sciences preferred.
