POSITION SUMMARY

Support Neighborhood Support with the planning and implementation of community programming.

To be considered you must be a student enrolled in a undergraduate program or graduate program. The Internship program will begin on June 3rd and end on August 2nd. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Outreach to community members to promote Neighborhood Support programs.

• Support the planning of Community Programming that will begin in September.

• Greet program participants and escort them to designated classrooms.

• Support with the planning of the Community Wellness Retreat- this includes outreach to partners, support with the development of the retreat itinerary, contact participants to remind them of upcoming deadlines.

• Support with interpretation and translations, if possible

• Create an environment that is safe, culturally sensitive, and relevant to the needs of participants.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS

• Preferred languages: Spanish and Mandarin/Cantonese
