POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Quality Intern will assist the Office of the Chief Operating Officer in implementing standard operating procedures and a process improvement initiative within the organization. Working closely with leadership, this role will contribute to projects that aim to uphold and enhance quality standards and operational efficiency. The intern will be involved in tracking performance metrics, facilitating operational processes, and participating in the development of quality management initiatives.

The Operations Team Summer Intern will support Trinity operations and be a community ambassador for the organization. This internship is fast paced and requires hard work, focus, and care.

To be considered you must be a student enrolled in a undergraduate program or graduate program. The Internship program will begin on June 3rd and end on August 2nd. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support process improvement core team and facilitators in launch of revised processes to Trinity Wall Street
  • Assist process improvement core team and facilitators in launching feedback mechanisms – structures, response standards, response expectations, accountabilities.
  • Assist process improvement core team and facilitators interpret feedback, generate responses
  • Assist process improvement core team and facilitators in design and recommend process refinement approach and “how it will work”
  • Assist process improvement core team and facilitators design and implement process performance measurement approach
  • Work with process improvement core team and facilitators to generate initial periodic performance reports, advise on core messaging.
  • Assist in the management of SharePoint database.
  • Data tracking
  • Conducting research, independently and as part of a group.
  • Communication:  Presenting research to senior executive staff.
  • Project Management:  understanding the components of a project, developing timelines, engaging with stakeholders, using technical tools such as Gantt charts, Kanban boards, work breakdown structures to optimize workflow.
  • Attend meetings and take minutes.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ACTIVITIES

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate’s Degree in business or operations management or equivalent experience.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS

  • Undergraduate/Graduate degree.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to conduct research and write reports on findings.
  • Communicate respectfully, diplomacy.
